pouches 20 x 30cm (ratio 1 x 1.5) up to pillowcase size (sewn around 2 long sides and one short side leaving the other short side open - no need for a drawstring), nests all sizes, pouch liners cotton material, similar sizes to pouches, double sew (french seam)  so no threads are showing that could choke an animal, wraps - cotton material hemmed with no threads showing 50cm up to 100cm square

GOLDEN OLDIES ANIMAL RESCUE (ACT)

Dog jumpers in all sizes

Golden Oldies rescue older pets who have lost their owners or whose owners can no longer take care of them, usually because they have moved to a nursing home.  They take care of vet needs, then place them in foster care before finding a forever home.  Sometimes the pets are very ill and are placed in palliative care, given love for however long they have left.

Beanies and scarves in plain, dark colours (e.g. black, brown, navy, dark grey, dark green) as well as some indigenous coloured beanies and scarves.  NO CHILDRENS ITEMS

CANBERRA ONCOLOGY (ACT)

Soft beanies and chemo hats in adult sizes only. Seamless knit/ crocheted/loomed styles; no open or lacy patterns over the crown. Any yarn is acceptable, as long as it feels soft against bare skin. Please avoid green or orange or yellow framing the face (if possible). Knee rugs ( 90cms to 100cms ) and larger rugs (perhaps throw rug size) for on top of beds are also requested.

FNQ CROCHET FOR CANCER (QLD)

Rugs all acrylic preferred size 100 x 100,  knitted or crocheted all colours plus beanies for adults all acrylic any colour.  These are for patients of Gordonvale palliative care, Liz Plummer cancer centre and OPERA ward at Cairns base hospital.  All rugs are washed and dried and wrapped separately with a beanie to be gifted to patients.
